For the last few weeks the new footpath from the track at Combwich opposite the Common has remained closed to the public as the work to finish it at the Steart end continued. But today without fanfare the path was opened to walkers, cyclists and horse riders as far as the Stert Drove. Local artist Tom Jacobs is reputed to be the first to use it (from East to West) but throughout the day many other locals found their way too.
